Hey everyone! Sorry I haven’t posted for so long – I’ve actually been moving to a new house! I have really been enjoying it, and it’s my first move! I lived in my first house for all of my life until now. In the new house, I got to paint my room, pick out my own fan, get a gameroom, and a lot of other things! The new house is also my first 2-story house. Here are some pictures:
Do you like it? I do! From now on I should be posting more often than 5 months per post! (Seriously)
I haven’t posted in a long time… sorry! : ) We’ve had a really busy summer between our vacation and trying to sell the house and move!
So, I went to DISNEYWORLD! It was so awesome, but it was so EVIL how my parents told me we were going to Six Flags! Yeah, that’s right – they kept it a secret until we were about to leave, and then they dropped the BOMB on us! We freaked out!
Disneyworld has four main areas:
Magic Kingdom: My favorite theme park. It has lots of cool rides and sights like the fireworks! Favorite thing: Space Mountain and Buzz Lightyear Spaceranger Spin!
Epcot: More sights than rides, but still cool! I got my souvenir from Epcot, it was a small round container made of Moroccan wood! Favorite thing: Spaceship Earth and Soarin’!
Animal Kingdom: Very fun animal-themed attractions and exhibits like gorillas, birds, & hippos! Favorite thing: Kilimanjaro Safari and Dinosaur!
Hollywood Studios: Did not spend as much time here because we got rained out. Favorite thing: Fantasmic!
Well, this is my list – thanks for looking! We had a great time and we were lucky to get to go!
I’ve been reading a lot of science books lately that talk about multiple universes. Most of them say that space is like a big ocean, and in that ocean there are lots of “bubbles.” Each “bubble” is a separate universe. Some people even think that some universes are very close to each other but in a different plane and if two of the universes collide, it causes a “Big Bang” that resets the universes or creates new ones!
I don’t believe universes are created like that. I think God created the universe. But it’s cool to wonder if God may have created other universes and that space may be even bigger than we already know it is. It makes me feel so tiny!
I haven’t had a post in 3 weeks because of the holidays – sorry! : )
My next post will be about our Christmas, but for today I want to tell you about Taekwondo. When you begin learning, you’re a white belt. As you advance and learn to master new skills, you earn stripes for your belt. These are pieces of tape that your Master (teacher) puts on your belt when he decides you are ready. You need 4 black stripes and 1 red stripe to test for the next belt.
In the test, you have to show that you are ready for the next belt by performing katas, demonstrating kicks, punches, and blocks, and – my favorite part – sparring! So far, I have advanced three times, which makes me a green belt, and I have earned 2 black stripes so far. Once I earn 2 more black stripes and a red stripe, I can test for my blue belt. The blue belt is halfway to a black belt!
Here are some pictures of my belt advancements in order (just click on them to see them full-sized):
I have 3 cousins: Kai, Cadence, and Braelyn. Kai is 6, Cadence is 1, and Braelyn was just born!
Kai and I like to play together alot. We like to have pretend fights and battles and play video games with our dads. His favorite game is Skylanders. Kai lives in Louisiana with my Aunt Kenna and Uncle Cody.
Cadence is only 1, but she can already walk and run. She is also learning to talk, and she can even say my name! She likes it when I chase her around, and she can really wear you down! Braelyn is a newborn, so she mostly eats, sleeps, and makes cute faces. : ) Cadence and Braelyn live in Richardson with my Uncle Shawn and Aunt Jordan.
I really love my cousins!
This is my first post, so I decided to start with a picture of me…
